Drunk with Happiness ;D

I just got the information I longed for such a long time! FINALLY (some of you know what we’ve been through;D) my friends got invitations form Kyrgyz Economical University and I'm going there with them :-)
There are so many things I’ll have to see about and I realise it only now. But there is one thing I’m quite sure of, namely, that I’ll be writing this blog in Bishkek 'cause it really makes me angry that there is so little relevant information about Kyrgyzstan on the net.
Oh, and I decided to add a map just in case some of you didn't know where exactly Kyrgyzstan is (I have to admit that I had this problem at first;)
Cheers!

My Music

I guess I’m old fashioned in this respect but the music I always like listening to no matter what my mood may be is this by U2, Sting, Bruce Springsteen and RHCP. They are the ginats for me.
Of course I listen to all that crap that most radio stations play but my ”fascination” with such music is usually painfully short-lived ;D
There are some songs I love simply for the reason that they wake up some great memories.

I’m not going to describe in any further details what I like other bands for I’ll just name them to make it short and less complicated;-) So: Depeche Mode, Asian Dub Foundation, Thievery Corporation, M-Seven, Dream Lab, Kosheen... but hey! There really are many I listen to and it depends on my mood and so many other things. I’m pretty sure that tomorrow I’ll read this post and think of totally different bands I like;-)

Here's one of my favourite videoclips by RHCP "Can't Stop". I absolutely adore it because it's sooo crazy that everytime I'm watching it I just Can't Stop laughing  ;D

something about the place I come from...

The place I come from is a big and busy city but at the same time one you can find peace in.

Sometimes I want to escape it and at other times I feel that I could never ever leave it.

I definitely love my neighbourhood. I live in the suburbs and guess what? You can find real grass and sweet-smelling flowers here;D

Sometimes I feel sad when people come to Poznan and judge it without really knowing all the faces of this city (and I guarantee you it has many). I love this city for many reasons: I love the places I used to play in when I was a child, I love the way the sun shines into my room in the morning and I love this feeling that even though I spent so much time here, there are still new places waiting for me to discover them.

And yet the people, my family & my friends, are the most important ones, who make me feel certain that my home is here.

OK, this stuff is so sentimental that I can`t say for sure that I identify myself with what I`ve just written I'm hardly ever so sentimental;D I'd better go now ;-)
